This summer, the suburban Deauville became the center of Moscow’s cultural life by hosting the region’s best social events. In the beginning of July, Deauville hosted the final concert of the “Moscow Evenings” music festival.
Classical music masterpieces could be heard wafting from the open-air stage by the lake. The performing artists included: Denis Matsuev (People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, laureate of the XI International Chaikovsky Competition), Yury Bashmet, Sayaki Syodzi (laureate of the Paganini Competition in Genoa), Vladislav Lavrik (solo trumpet player), and the chamber ensemble “Moscow’s Soloists.”
